The hiking around Tafraoute is, in a word, magnificent. Bring your own water, a good pair of walking shoes, a hat and a camera. The ascents and descents are not too challenging, the view unobstructed and any predatory wildlife is, well, absent. Certainly the wild flora is delightful, if you keep your distance.
